Community Highlights: Meet George Allen of Desert Septic

Today we’d like to introduce you to George Allen.

Hi George, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Our business in Casa Grande, Arizona, actually started as a side operation. Back in 2005, I left my job as a corrections officer and began driving a cement truck full time. The following year, I started driving on a pump truck the weekends. What began as a way to pick up extra work quickly grew into something much bigger.

Today, that small side job has grown into a full-service septic company offering design, installation, repairs, inspections, and pumping throughout Pinal County and the surrounding areas.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the beginning, I was still working my cement truck job full time while trying to get the septic business off the ground. I’d park my pump truck in a lot, drive my cement truck shift, and then head straight back to the pump truck before finally going home. At that point, I was just handling pumping and inspections, but I knew if I wanted to grow, I had to learn more. So every night I’d get online to read, study, and absorb everything I could about septic systems and the business side of things. I even subscribed to Pumper magazine and studied every issue cover to cover. It was a lot of trial and error, long hours, and sacrifice, but that’s what built the foundation for what we’ve grown into today.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Desert Septic, we’re proud to be a full-service septic company serving Casa Grande and the surrounding areas. We handle everything from septic system design and installation to inspections, repairs, pumping, and even alternative systems. Our goal has always been to provide dependable service with honesty and transparency. We want our customers to have complete confidence in choosing Desert Septic.

What makes our business unique is the well-rounded approach we bring to septic services. From brand-new installations to complex repairs, routine maintenance, and alternative systems, we have the experience and equipment to handle each job with precision. Just as important, we’re proud of the strong team we’ve built — a group that works well together and takes real pride in the quality of our work. We also place a high value on maintaining good relationships with other local businesses and industry professionals, because working together helps us better serve our community.

Brand-wise, we’re most proud of the reputation we’ve built in our community. This business started small and hands-on, and even as we’ve grown, we’ve kept that same level of care and personal attention for every project. We want customers to know that when they call Desert Septic, they’re not just hiring a service, they’re getting a dedicated team that’s invested in doing the job right and standing behind our work.

What’s next?
Looking ahead, we’re excited about establishing a presence in the city of Eloy with a small office space. This will give our team a central location to coordinate projects, manage materials, and streamline day-to-day operations. It’s an important step as we continue to grow and ensure our team has the resources they need to work efficiently and maintain the high-quality service our customers rely on.
