Hi Drake, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Hybrid Hoops and Christian Athletes Worldwide Alliance as a way to help athletes reach their potential in life, although I develop their skillsets, I take a lot of time to develop their minds, their discipline, and life skills to traslate into all forms of business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Teaching and training athletes is typically a smooth road. There are few things I love more than making a difference in someone’s life. Exposure in a new city has been challenging but outside of that everything has been going great.

As you know, we’re big fans of Hybrid Hoops & Christian Athletes Worldwide Alliance. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Hybrid Hoops is a basketball skills development company in which we train athletes as young as age 6 up through the professional ranks. Everything from position specific skills, basketball IQ, and mental training to help develop a person’s willpower, As a former pro, I also provide consultations for athletes and parents in guiding their careers beyond the amateur levels and my clients have access to my sports network which expands to top professional and collegiate leagues throughout the planet. I’m known for having a tremendous work ethic, being honest and having integrity. What sets me apart from others is that I’ve played with distinction at every position on every level and I know exactly what each player needs to maximize their talent and opportunities. I don’t waste time putting players in drills that don’t translate to real game situations. I’m also the author of the book series called Christian Athletes vs The World which guides athletes of all sports in each stage of their careers. I want readers to know we’re in the gym every week at First Institutional Baptist church doing skill work and having an academy to prepare players and parents for their sports journey ahead. Christian Athletes Worldwide Alliance is our nonprofit which connects athletes, coaches, parents and front office personnel of all sports from around the world who are in serious competition. From my experience having played in 10 countries and 6 continents, there are a lot of athletes and coaches who simply don’t have much support outside of their teams and parents who have a difficult time relating to their athletic children and understanding their needs. This organization is definitely a great way to fill those voids through our groups and meetings.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Hmm. This is a tough one, I guess most people don’t know I’ve been to 24 countries and that I speak French.
