Community Highlights: Meet Courtney Fuller of Nutrition Thyme RD

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Fuller.

Courtney, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I got my culinary start by cooking for my family growing up, then attending my dream of culinary school. At the Le Cordon Bleu in Sacramento, I learned chef skills, and recipes, and started working in restaurants. Later on, I got my undergraduate degree in Nutrition which I paired with my culinary background.

After working in restaurants, bakeries, and senior living, I decided to form my own personal chef company. I wanted to work with clients one-on-one, tailoring menus to each individual’s preferences. Over the past few years, I’ve networked and made connections throughout my community to spread the word about custom healthy meals and meal prep!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey and road have been a big learning experience for me, especially with all the different ways to network.

Conducting business, networking, and social media are three big ways to connect with the community all while having to be creative! There are so many avenues of doing each of these and finding the best strategy or trying new ideas can always be a challenge, but rewarding!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I own a personal chef company, Nutrition Thyme RD, that focuses on nutrition and healthy meals in the Phoenix area. We provide weekly meals, meal prep, and for special occasions cooking in the client’s home. Everything is customizable in regard to a number of meals, food preferences, specialized diets, and allergies. We help clients with prepping and cooking healthy meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Meals are then packaged, labeled, and placed into the refrigerator or freezer.

After cooking, we leave you with a clean kitchen and a happy refrigerator! There are many specialized diets we can build into menus such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, whole 30, keto, dairy-free, gluten-free, and more!

Additionally, we can provide nutritional analysis and grocery shopping. Helping clients achieve a healthy lifestyle is very rewarding, especially when they have several dietary requirements! This allows us to be very creative and collaborate with the clients.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
My Chef team and I keep in touch with our clients by engaging as much as possible. Each client gets a personal touch with their menus being 100% customizable!

After the cook day, we check in with the client to see how the meals were and if any ingredients should be changed for next time. We love learning about each client so we can create a healthy, nutritious food experience for them and meet their goals! We are happy to answer any questions and provide a complimentary consultation.
