Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was a celebrity caterer, business was great, and boom…the pandemic hit and hit hard, especially with the mandates of no more than 2-3 could gather. It was horrible for the restaurant industry. I’ve always had a passion for cosmetics and skincare and decided to enroll in school for esthetics during the pandemic since everything else was at a standstill and I was not sure my catering business was recession-proof.

I graduated in 2021, got my license as an esthetician, and opened a small spa in Scottsdale this past winter. I also have my own natural skincare line infused with turmeric, it’s simply magic for your skin.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has been very insightful, lots of learning lessons.

I wish I had found this career path right out of high school because I enjoy it so much. Helping people with their skincare needs and different skin issues is very uplifting and rewarding especially to help build back confidence for those who struggled with their skin for years.
