Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After suffering from the heartbreaking loss of my husband in a motorcycle accident, I persevered and established myself as one incredible mompreneur! My upscale natural hair salon was only the beginning – I went on to create a small fleet of rental cars and even started my own coaching business for credit & finances all whilst raising my daughter alone.

My passion has always been to help others, hence my degree in psychology. I began helping business owners build their financial futures, and it all started when I saw a huge gap in the industry. Business owners were relying on personal funds that had the potential of leaving them with little or no capital left for investing in growth – something nobody should have to face!

If you’ve ever felt “cash-flow broke” trying to make your business dreams a reality, I am here for you! I’m passionate about helping you WIN in business. I know that to get the value of information, a transformation must take place and execution is key. I offer an array of services with various courses, programs, and mentorship options – all geared towards providing her clients success on their journey!

My mission is simple. To empower individuals through support & guidance as they strive for their entrepreneurial dreams.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
If the journey were smooth everyone would do it.

The first obstacle I faced was COVID. I opened my brick & mortar salon, All Mix’d Up Beauty Lounge, in March 2020. Shortly after opening, we were forced to close for 6 weeks. During this time I was forced to pivot. I began selling hair products online and I also started hosting virtual braid classes.

This is also around the time I became a business coach. I noticed my peers in the beauty industry did not have their businesses structured properly such as LLCs, EINs and etc. so they were unable to get access to all the grants that were available to business owners.

Another challenge I faced as a mompreneur! Motherhood is one of the toughest jobs out there – and for those who take on raising a family while also launching their own business, parenthood can often feel like an impossible task. I know this to be true from experience! Luckily, with so many mamas running successful businesses today, we no longer need to deal in silence or worry that ‘Mom Guilt’ will get the better of us. The answer? It’s absolutely OK to reach out and ask others—family members or colleagues alike—for help whenever you’re feeling overwhelmed; after all, it takes a village to raise both your ideas AND kids!

Bri Bucks Coaching and Credit has a primary goal of assisting the community with leveraging credit (personal & business) to buy income-producing assets.

The Bri Bucks Coaching & Credit team teaches the what, when, where, why, and how of personal and business credit.

In addition, it’s not just vendors, creditors, or lenders. Unlike others, we explain what to do after you get the money. Whether it’s buying cars to start a rental car business, vending machines, or property. To date, the team has assisted others in getting over 1 million dollars in funding!

To be truly successful means leaving a lasting legacy that carries on through generations. As someone who knows the effects of racial disparities and economic inequality, I am driven to make sure those injustices are diminished in my lifetime – if not abolished altogether!

My mission is two-fold: empowering people with education so they can own their future while uplifting up others along the way. Education and ownership are key tools for creating positive change today that will have ripple effects throughout history!
