Community Highlights: Meet Allison Cahill of The Agency Scottsdale & Allison Cahill & Partners Luxury Properties

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Cahill

Allison, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Like many Realtors, Allison would say that she fell into real estate not intentionally, but she absolutely loves it. It’s a true passion of hers. Allison grew up with a family who was heavily involved in real estate development, thus, it was truly in her background.

Before becoming involved in real estate, Allison was a corporate attorney practicing in Chicago. Allison stepped back to raise her two children. When the real estate market took a turn, she thought it would be beneficial to invest in residential real estate and buy rental properties. She did this, and very quickly she had many friends asking her if she could help them do the same. This snowballed into having a large database of investors and other clients. She also became involved in luxury real estate by helping her friends sell their personal homes.

She gradually grew her business and started a real estate team called Allison Cahill & Partners Luxury Properties. She is passionate about marketing, negotiation and studying the market trends. She loves helping her clients. She also has enjoyed working with the agents in her brokerage grow their businesses. She is currently the Designated Broker and Interim Managing Director for The Agency Scottsdale. It is a boutique luxury brokerage located in Scottsdale. They have approximately 50 high producing agents who are highly focused on luxury real estate.

In addition, she enjoys giving back to the real estate community with her involvement with Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors, Arizona Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors where she serves on each of these Board of Directors. She is also currently the President of Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors.

She has also always been passionate about philanthropic work which started at a very young age. She is involved with Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Give Back Homes, and Habitat for Humanity. She has also been involved with National Charity League, Homeward Bound, and Chrysalis. She also served on the Board of Trustees for Scottsdale Arts. She also has been an advocate for Ronald McDonald House.

When she isn’t working or volunteering, she enjoys time with her family hiking, skiing, golfing and kayaking all over Arizona.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest obstacle was taking a break from her career as a corporate attorney to deal with some family health issues. She always intended to return to law, but instead grew a real estate business. This turned out to be the perfect path for her.

We’ve been impressed with The Agency Scottsdale & Allison Cahill & Partners Luxury Properties , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Allison works as a luxury real estate agent, Designated Broker and Interim Managing Director for The Agency Scottsdale which is owned by Mauricio Umansky and Billy Rose out of Los Angeles/Beverly Hills. Allison still enjoys selling both luxury and investment properties. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve their real estate goals. She goes above and beyond for her clients ensuring that they never leave money on the table. She is an expert at negotiation, contract law and market knowledge. She also enjoys marketing and the use of high end videos to ensure that her listings are highly publicized for her sellers.

In addition to selling real estate, she acts as the Designated Broker for the brokerage and interim Managing Director. She leads approximately 50 high producing luxury agents.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Through the years, I have received tremendous support from colleagues and volunteers at Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors, and Arizona Association of Realtors. I have also received so much support from my children and husband. I also feel that growing up, I learned so much about real estate by going with my father to rural areas that were to become vibrant parts of Kansas City, northern Missouri and eastern Kansas. This experience has given me an edge on real estate investement.
