Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicia DeWilde.
Hi Alicia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Well-Being Chiropractic started as a shared dream for both of us. We wanted to create a warm, family-centered space where proactive, evidence-informed care helps people feel at home in their bodies. After years of caring for patients in different settings—and watching our friends, athletes, expectant moms, and new parents search for compassionate, whole-person support—we knew our community needed something more. That’s when we envisioned a practice in the East Valley that blended clinical excellence with genuine connection.
We opened Well-Being Chiropractic in Mesa with a focus on prenatal, postpartum, pediatric, and family care. Our approach is simple: we listen first, assess thoroughly, and tailor care to each person’s unique goals. Whether it’s a mama preparing for birth, a newborn needing gentle support, or an active adult wanting to move and play without pain, we meet families right where they are.
That philosophy shapes everything we do—from creating a calm, kid-friendly environment, to offering short, meaningful education at every visit, to collaborating with midwives, doulas, pelvic floor PTs, and other local providers. At the heart of it all, our mission is to help you move freely and live fully.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Opening Well-Being Chiropractic wasn’t a straight line. We took the leap to start our practice—and soon after learned we were expecting our first child. That beautiful surprise meant the earliest months of launching a business overlapped with pregnancy and, not long after, the newborn season. Our pace was intentionally slower: marketing took a back seat, clinic hours were adjusted, and we learned to build systems that could flex around prenatal appointments, postpartum recovery, and life with a brand-new baby.
There were practical challenges, too—stretching a lean budget, wearing every hat (clinician, front desk, marketing), and figuring out how to protect family time while still showing up for patients. What kept us moving forward was community: supportive families, trusted local providers, and patients who valued a calm, family-friendly approach. That season taught us to prioritize what matters—clear communication, gentle consistency, and care plans tailored to real life. It wasn’t always smooth, but it shaped us into a practice that’s resilient, empathetic, and truly family-centered.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

If readers remember one thing about Well-Being Chiropractic, let it be this: we’re a warm, knowledgeable partner for your family’s health—here to help you feel at home in your body, through every season of life.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Well-Being Chiropractic sees family-centered, collaborative, and education-forward care becoming the norm. A few clear shifts are already underway:
1. Pregnancy & postpartum care will keep growing. Expect more demand for gentle, bump-friendly adjusting, fourth-trimester support, and close collaboration with midwives, doulas, and pelvic floor PTs.
2. Conservative care first. For common musculoskeletal issues, many families and primary-care providers will look to safe, non-pharmacologic options earlier—placing chiropractic, movement, and lifestyle coaching at the front of the line.
3. Short, skill-building visits. Appointments that pair hands-on care with simple, personalized “do-this-at-home” strategies (posture, mobility, sleep, stroller/car seat ergonomics) will outpace one-size-fits-all plans.
4. Transparent, value-based pricing. More clinics will offer clear fees, memberships, and family plans to reduce friction and support consistent care.
5. Integrated teams. Chiropractors will partner more tightly with birth workers, pediatric specialists, and wellness pros—shared workshops, cross-referrals, and co-managed care.
6. Outcome tracking & patient education tech. Simple tools (forms, wearables, videos, text follow-ups) will make progress visible and keep families engaged between visits.
7. Community-first brands. Practices that show up locally—teaching workshops, creating practical guides, and offering family-friendly events—will stand out.
How Well-Being Chiropractic is leaning in: They specialize in prenatal, postpartum, pediatric, and family care; build care plans around education and simple home strategies; and actively collaborate with local midwives, doulas, and pelvic floor PTs. Brand-wise, they’re proud to keep the experience calm, kid-friendly, and empowering—so families can move freely and live fully.
