Hi Alaia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Six months ago, at 22, I quit my 9 – 5 with no direction. I had no backup plan, just a gut feeling, and my last paycheck, which I invested in a coach to help me start something of my own. At the time, I didn’t even know what kind of business I wanted to start.
However, I had two key assets: years of experience in real estate and social media, and a relentless drive to make it work. So I ran with what I knew and launched Luxe Social Hub as a social media manager. What happened next? It took off fast.
Today, Luxe is a full-blown marketing agency focused exclusively on organic growth, and we do it well. We’ve helped our clients generate nearly $ 500,000 in revenue, sold five homes directly from social media, and have three more under contract right now.
Our reach isn’t just local. I work with clients across the country, specializing in real estate, wellness, luxury services, and personal branding. One of my clients went from not knowing what success even looked like to hosting a workshop with hundreds of attendees in just five months.
I now speak at major industry events and teach other entrepreneurs how to build visibility and credibility online. I’ve turned the very thing that once terrified me (showing up online) into a platform that empowers others.`
Beyond client work, I host sold-out community events that bring together founders, creators, and industry leaders in person. Because, as a digital marketer, I’ve seen how disconnected this space can feel. The goal is to bridge the gap between influence and authentic connection, both online and offline.
This is just the beginning. Luxe is scaling fast, and I’m only getting started!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not. It’s been anything but smooth.
I’m not someone who sugarcoats things. I’m blunt, I’m honest, and I’m not afraid to say that running a business is hard, especially one that takes off as fast as mine did.
Everyone talks about how 90 percent of businesses fail within the first year, but no one prepares you for what happens when it works right away, when the demand hits fast, when the pressure multiplies, when you’re forced to grow faster than you planned to.
I had weak systems in place. I was building the plane while flying it, managing clients, scaling a brand, hiring interns, hosting events, closing deals, and still trying to maintain my peace at the same time.
The truth is, I’ve had days when I’ve wanted to quit and moments when I was overwhelmed. I’ve had breakdowns, pushed through burnout, and questioned if I was even built for this.
But I always figure it out. Because I care. Because I’m built differently. Because I know the impact this work is making.
So no, it hasn’t been smooth. But it’s been real. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
You know what? I would say myself.
Everyone doubted me. Everyone was confused. When you leave a stable job, especially a director title at a young age, people look at you sideways. Telling people I was going to start a social media marketing agency wasn’t exactly met with applause.
It wasn’t easy. I saw no results at first. I put in weeks of work. Nothing moved. But I kept showing up. I kept posting, even when it made me cringe. At the time, putting myself out there online was my worst nightmare. But I knew I had something tangible to build, and I wasn’t going to stop.
Now I’m here. Running a successful agency. Leading others. Teaching the things I once had to figure out on my own.
Funny how life works when you bet on yourself and don’t fold.
