Hi Adetoro, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi My name is Adetoro,nice to meet you! I was raised in Upstate Schenectady New York, by way of Nigeria and I am a spiritual practitioner, board certified life coach and lifestyle creative. I wanted to offer something to women that were like me, those experiencing the hardships of life that would keep them stuck in their lives! I wanted to help women love who they were and heal themselves by building a deeper, more intuitive spiritual relationship with themselves and the divine spirit within (God)!

There was a point in my life where I was in a place that kept me from loving myself and became judgmental and hard on myself and created a horrible interpersonal relationship with myself which led to unhealthy practices, like verbally speaking down on myself, and treating my self poorly both mentally and emotionally causing my physical health to decline!

Because I went through this and came to the understanding that how you treat yourself and the way you experience yourself matters, led me to create a business that serves to empower women to be their authentic selves unapologetically through exploring their emotions and internal experiences healing them through pursuing and building the life they dream of for who they are and want to be!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth ride, heck I am still on the journey of really planting myself and growing this work that I am doing! Some struggles that I have met along the way have been financial, mental, and social. Not having the support of friends or family, having a lot of starts and stops along the way in my business, and having to learn the hard way, which is usually the long way of how to do the work of running a business.

Managing myself as a business and a part-time entrepreneur while also trying to be creative in the healing work that I offer can be a challenge in of itself! I also want to talk about what it’s like having to believe in what you are doing and yourself as a creator and what you have to offer the world! finding your path in life is not an easy journey to take on but it’s worth it because you get to have agency over your life and what it looks like and feels like for you! It’s truly a calling and a blessing to take on the challenge of not living a lifestyle according to what society tells you your life is supposed to look like!

The InnHer Experience is a spiritual lifestyle brand centered on introspective work, I teach women how to be with themselves emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually so they can show up in ways that enrich their lives and lifestyles by implementing practices that work for them through online platforms that offer a variety of ways to engage with the brand and its founders, such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and the company’s website!

The InnHer Experience is known for facilitating workshops in spiritual wellness and well-being, speaking engagements, online education, and personal coaching! What sets my work apart from other lifestyle brand companies, is the concept of the brand, the position we undertake in how we address the issues found in spiritual wholeness concerning your everyday lifestyle, the way you live, and how that affects the emotional well-being of the individual.

What I am most proud of brand-wise is the elements of what I do for my job, providing real-life personal examples of ways to interrupt your pattern of thinking and implement new ways to see yourself and hold yourself accountable to how you want to see your life go! by developing and engaging with a new perspective of what is possible and then taking a leap of faith in that direction, and this is the spiritual work!

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I think it’s important to take risks in life, it allows you to step into a frequency, a state of reality that shows you what you are capable of! without risk or sacrifice you lose out on the quality of life it takes to become your greatest yourself!

Yes, it was a total risk moving from California out to Arizona. I had to bet on myself every step of the way and I haven’t stopped since, I haven’t let up on who I am becoming in the midst of doubt and fear in order to realize the dream life I desire for myself, and that is the purpose of my work! To invite women to move through their fears and what hinders them despite what their reality tells them and to go after their hopes and dreams in order to become what they truly feel connected to in their hearts and this is what being a risk taker looks like!

Not letting go of your dreams when everything looks like it’s against you in achieving them!

As a risk taker, a maverick, I think being a risk taker is what this life is about and meant for. Are you going to be the type of person who puts themselves out there and takes chances on themselves in order to inevitably arrive at what you’ve always dreamed of or are you going to settle for what you’ve been given and never try for more than what you have? Life is all about creating what you desire and taking the risk to believe in yourself to achieve what you want!
