Today we’d like to introduce you to Vonni Starks.

Vonni, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I started messing around with music when I was a kid. I started playing the violin and the drums. My Pops played music so music runs through my blood. I never took music seriously I messed around with it from time to time but never put out anything for the world to hear…I guess I was skeptical about my music I never thought it would be good enough to hit the mainstream waves. I stopped working on my music for years I didn’t have anything worth saying, until a few years ago a fire was burning on the inside and I had to let the flames out so the world can finally hear who Vonni G is…

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I’m a HipHop/Rapper, I’m the creator of Stoner Trap Music. I wanted to create something different with actual lyrics that you can understand. I make music for the stoners and for the people out in the streets hustling. I want people to be able to sit back and listen to my music and say I can relate to him. If you ever been through serious life events you can get in tune with my music

The sterotype of a starving artist scares away many potentially talented artists from pursuing art – any advice or thoughts about how to deal with the financial concerns an aspiring artist might be concerned about?
Don’t let the finances stop you from your dreams, the Most High (GOD) will always make a way if it’s for you. As long as you let people know your situation they will always be willing to work with you or for you!!!
