Today we’d like to introduce you to Tomeko Smith.

Hi Tomeko, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The end of a toxic abusive relationship is what sparked my spiritual awaking in 2018. It was at that point I realized that I had thought so little of myself that I was willing to help the very person that was hurting me at my own expense. Ironically enough his grandmother was spiritual and she gave me my first reading and I was amazed at how a tarot card was able to tell her more about me.

So, I purchased a deck to learn more about what my Angels wanted to help me with. That deck helped transform my life. It was at that moment I decided I wanted to help others do the same through revealing truths. I was in some of the deepest hurt I had ever felt but the presence of something unknown being by my side to aid me, empowered me to see myself in the same light as they did. I’m here today despite my mistakes, my failures, my having lost everything because I started believing in myself despite my circumstances.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not! I have three children and when I took the leap, left my corporate job to pursue my business as a Spiritual Advisor full time, I lost a lot. I lost my home, my car and when coronavirus impacted the nation I found myself not having a place to sleep/eat as the world was shutting down. All of my life, I’ve been financially stable, so to lose everything and have to sleep in my car for a few weeks was the toughest thing I had to experience in life. I was grateful that my babies got to be with their dad, so they never had to see my struggle. But even that was a struggle because I wasn’t used to being away from my kids. Stepping into my purpose raised a lot of red flags for people. Energy work and talking with Spirit’s really isn’t everyone’s thing lol. So the need to see myself as unique and still go after something when everyone looked down on me was a struggle as well. The character I’ve built and the oracle decks I was able to create, however, was all worth it!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I like to call myself a Spiritual Influencer. My passion includes creating oracle decks to help others hear their intuition on their own. I am also an intuitive tarot reader, I tap into energy to give truths, help heal, inspire and motivate others to live their best life. I specialize in love, manifestation, affirmations, love, self-empowerment/development. I believe that we all have the power to create the life we want. Sometimes blocks have to be removed to discover that. This is what I love to do!

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love the weather, the mountains, and the sky. I spend a lot of time in nature because that’s when I feel closest to Spirit. If I had to dislike anything about phoenix, it would be that the traffic here is a little crazy!
