Today we’d like to introduce you to Summer Elizabeth , .

Summer, , we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I am Summer, owner of Summer Elizabeth Photography. I am a natural light photographer based in, Phoenix, Arizona but travel all over surrounding areas. I specialize in all things family related from Newborn, Children, Family, Seniors, Engagements to Wedding and Lifestyle sessions.

I have always had a creative mind and a love for art. I love taking photos, but seriously got into portrait photography when my first child was born. I invest my heart and my mind into photography and continue learning and constantly feel in love. My passion resonates through the images I capture.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
My children are my passion. As a mother of three children, I know all too well how fast our kids can grow. I treasure each and every moment I have with my children. Having quality and beautiful images to remember this time are treasure, and a priceless investment.

I love taking photos. I am a portrait photographer. I enjoyed capture people images. I love getting to know all my clients and love to be able to create those relationships with them.

love outdoor session, always looking for the perfect light! Sessions with me are relax and laid back and enjoyable include both poses and candid moments. I mostly love bright and airy, crisp, bold and colorful.

Artists face many challenges, but what do you feel is the most pressing among them?
In my personal opinion due to competitive market, the biggest challenge is to gain clients. Some photographers believe they need to lower their price in order to obtain clients, However they should value their art and ensure that they are delivering a quality product and not quantity. Every photographers has different styles, ex some are light and airy, some moody, some true to color. Etc. Every artist has different tastes, just as your clients will as well.

You don’t want people to book you for quantity you give, but ideally u need ideal clients that would love you for your art and value your work and what u can do.

There is no need to compete with others but yourself, only then will you grow as an artist and therefore so will your business. Clients will come to you because they like your style and your service.

Also do not get discouraged, it takes time to build any business.
