Check Out Zackery Kampf’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zackery Kampf.

Zackery Kampf

Hi Zackery, I’m so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have seen that supplemental training for soccer players has become quite expensive, and at the same time, most training programs do not train players’ intelligence. I wanted to create this training academy to be open for all players of all levels to receive intelligence training, no matter what team they play for in the valley.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
So far, it has had only a few hiccups, which I expected. And those hiccups were things I could not plan for, with the software I use acting up and not showing appointments for sessions. But other than that, it has been relatively smooth.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I coach multiple age groups, from U11 boys to community college men. I put forth a lot of effort to continue to educate myself in the soccer world; whether it be Barcelona online courses or flying to Europe for coaching courses, it is vital to continue to grow. I am proud of the players I have coached in the past, and they let me know the training I gave them still helps them in big moments in games. My attention to the very minute details is what sets me apart. That comes from my youth when I had low confidence for two years and was on the bench listening to everything my coach said. I would analyze the game while I sat there. That experience has helped me be the coach I am today, where I break down the slightest details in mechanics or technical work.

What changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
With other organizations in the game, this is growing more and more. The simple thing is that parents want to give their children the best chance to succeed in the things they love. They will continue to look for training, and some fantastic coaches offer similar training to me. So, the demand from parents will require us to continue to supply a high-level product. The game’s beauty is that it is constantly evolving; the demands of the game change in different positions.
