Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiara Deahn Thornton.

Hi Tiara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi Honey Bees! That is how I refer to all of my followers on my fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog sassycurls.com, and other social media platforms.

I started my personal blog for my love of writing and sharing my recommendations on curly hair products and fashion.

“Here’s to always being your B.E.S.T! Be Fashionable, Embrace Individuality, Stay Classy, Treat Yourself,” is the theme for my website.

The mission of Sassy Curls is to help women embrace their individuality, value their self-worth, and discover their dreams.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Building my platforms has not been a smooth road. When I find myself overwhelmed, I do my best to prioritize what I can accomplish in my day.

I have let go I constantly share what seems like every minute of my day in real-time. I capture my content and I post it later. This gives me the freedom to live in the moment when meeting up with friends at events.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Along with my blog, I started Tea Time with Tiara Deahn on Twitch TV. This was a live show with me talking about beauty, fashion, and lifestyle with lots of positivi-TEA.

I was consistently going live every Tuesday around 7 PM when I was not attending events. I was able to convert my tea time into a live fashion industry panel for Arizona Fashion Week (AZFW).

Female Leadership and Inclusivity in Fashion was the topic with four panelists that are involved in the Arizona fashion community.

It was such a success, that I am not going to convert this into a podcast in 2023.

Who else deserves credit for your story?
My younger brother, Jeff Thornton, owner of QuickSaveNutrition, QSN, has been a huge supporter of my blog. His encouragement and insight are always appreciated.

He has great insight into the mindset and how to approach new platforms with his gift of storytelling.
