Check Out Tatum Schuh’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatum Schuh.

Hi Tatum, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
In middle school I was gifted a point and shoot camera that I took pictures of everything on! In highschool I was able to upgrade to a dlsr and started practing with my friends. Lots of practice and hangouts later, I started getting some classmates asking for senior sessions. I offered small sessions every once in a while just to get more practice with different ideas and settings. I truly started photography just as a hobby but as I learned more and worked with more people it quickly turned into a passion; I knew I had to build something of this! While I’ve only been a business for about 3 years, so much has changed in that time; so many upgrades and new experiences. Now I typically have 2-3 sessions a week and I get to photograph big moments like weddings! This last year I have focused on growing my social media presence and meeting others around the valley.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So far it has been a pretty smooth path! The biggest struggle I face would be social media, I am still finding the confidence to post more behind the scenes.

I specialize in a wide range of photography! While some stick to a specific “niche”, I love getting the chance to photograph all of life’s moments! From creative sessions to weddings, I think every bit of life deserves to be photographed and remembered.
Something that makes me different from other photographers in my area is that every package and every session is customized to each client! Everyone gets to pick out the photos they want, and I offer a few different edit looks to choose from. This way you get all the photos you want and they look exactly how you’d like.

What matters most to you?
Client experience will always be the most important to me! I want everyone of my clients to walk away from their session with an experience to remember and photos that will last a lifetime!
