Today we’d like to introduce you to Talisa Ordaz
Hi Talisa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After stepping away from corporate America, I was searching for something more aligned with who I was—something creative, expressive, and rooted in human connection. That search led me to photography. I began with a professional role in real estate photography, which gave me a solid foundation in composition, technical skill, and working with clients in high-paced environments.
Outside of that, I spent time building my skillset by photographing friends and family, studying portraiture, and collaborating with other photographers in the Phoenix creative community. Those early days shaped my perspective and approach—and reminded me that storytelling was at the heart of everything I wanted to do.
I’ve always been curious about people—their energy, their essence, what makes them who they are. Photography became the medium where that curiosity could take form.
As I evolved creatively, I realized I wasn’t just creating images—I was helping people see themselves in ways they hadn’t before. That insight inspired the launch of Muse Haus: a creative studio where artistry meets strategy to produce intentional, story-driven brand imagery. I work with entrepreneurs, creatives, and industry leaders to craft visuals that are elevated, honest, and deeply aligned with who they are in this chapter of their journey.
Through Muse Haus, my goal is to not only create beautiful visuals, but to give my clients a sense of ownership and clarity in how they show up in the world. I believe intentional imagery has the power to shift perception, build trust, and tell stories that words alone can’t. Whether it’s a founder stepping into a new chapter or a brand evolving its identity, I’m here to help bring that vision to life—with depth, purpose, and a commitment to capturing the human behind the brand.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road—but I don’t think it’s meant to be. Transitioning out of corporate role into a creative career came with a lot of unknowns. I had to rediscover my identity, learn to trust my instincts, and stay grounded in the uncertainty of entrepreneurship. I was paving an unfamiliar path, but trusting that God had a greater plan gave me the reassurance to keep moving forward.
Building Muse Haus from the ground up meant wearing every hat, navigating burnout, and learning how to pace myself without losing direction. I had to unlearn the hustle culture I came from and replace it with something more sustainable—creativity rooted in intention, not just output.
Those challenges taught me resilience, clarity, and how to create from a place of alignment. They’ve shaped how I serve my clients today—with empathy, honesty, and a deep respect for the creative process.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the Founder and Creative Director of Muse Haus, a photography and creative studio that specializes in elevated brand imagery and video. I work with entrepreneurs, creatives, and industry leaders—people building something meaningful who want their visuals to reflect both who they are and where they’re headed. My focus is on crafting imagery that not only looks beautiful but feels aligned, strategic, and emotionally resonant.
I specialize in what I call intentional imagery—a blend of artistry, brand identity, and storytelling. At the core of my process is something I refer to as brand anthropology—the practice of studying and understanding the deeper layers of a person or brand before we ever pick up the camera. It’s about uncovering the essence: values, tone, energy, and narrative. That insight allows me to create visuals that feel honest, aligned, and elevated.
I’m most proud of the transformation that often happens through the process. When a client says they finally feel seen, or that their imagery feels like a true reflection of who they are—it means everything. That’s when I know we’ve created something powerful.
What sets me apart is my ability to merge creative direction, emotional depth, and strategy. I don’t just capture someone—I help tell their story with clarity and intention. That blend of connection, vision, and execution is what makes my work meaningful—and lasting.
