Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Belle

Samantha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Oh, my lanta! Honestly, my story started when I took my first stage right exit…right outta my momma! But really, I’ve been a performer since I was little. I started dancing when I was 3 years old and sang in my arts pre pre k as well as in churches and through school. I didn’t think I was especially good until I was nominated and then selected to go to Governors School East in 2009 for choral music the summer between my junior and senior year of high school. I then got my bachelors in music therapy with my primary instrument as voice as my “real degree” while doing theater both paid and at school until I graduated. I did a quick commercial as a model and worked as a production assistant on another project in North Carolina, and then I moved to Hawaii where in 2015 I got paid as a stage hand for the first time! I was only in Hawaii for 6 months before I moved to Japan where I modeled, landing a billboard and being recognized on the beach, started my on set work assisted photographers and performed with a traveling live and interactive game show as a casting assistant, show girl and the character Samnificent. In 2017 I left Japan with two suitcases and 2k, started going by my stage name “Samantha Belle” and moved to Phoenix where I now reside. In the last 7.5 years I’ve built a life to where I am now a professional:

This plus getting married, and I can finally say that I am living my dreams fully. It’s now the season for adding 0’s!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has definitely not been an easy peasy, lemon squeezy sorta journey. I’d say that managing my mindset has been the biggest and most prevalent struggle because I’ve always had what it takes. Between the stories I told myself and adopted from others about what was “realistic” and “probable” with my success, to my own self doubt when my talent didn’t do what I “wanted” it to, to losing out on auditions I thought I had in the bag, to dedicating 7+ years to a career I never wanted – the journey’s been bumpy to say the least! I moved around the world, started over again and again, felt imposter syndrome when I DID book things, felt I had to start at the bottom because I wasn’t officially trained in something vs coming in where my actual experiences and talent had me, seeing everyone I coached go on to do amazing things while I was sabotaging my own success, afraid that if I got too successful in business and coaching, I wouldn’t be able to give up the money to perform. Now, once I rid myself of that belief last belief via the help of my wife, things turned on their head, as they always do and now we’re here!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
After all that, I am now Samantha Belle. A performance coach for creatives and entrepreneurs looking to navigate their own multi passionate success, a professional motivational speaker, MC and performer. I’m doing everything I always wanted. I lead myself and others to navigate their multi passionate success through my monthly membership because I believe that you truly can have it all. I specialize in the subconscious mind and energy as well as the technical and strategic ways of navigating the multi passionate success through your life and career. I used to say that I bring the show, and the business! I practice what I preach and am active in the things I want to be, and not in the things that I don’t! After every stage, set and feature on a podcast, I still feel as though I am just getting started. I’m VERY excited to see what unfolds in 2025 and beyond!

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising about me is that I truly and honestly have no preference on which way the toilet paper roll goes! It’s true! Aside from that, I’m from the kind of south where the rival high school had prom at an abandoned Piggly Wiggly and we got off school for Mule Days. I can read music because I started playing the flute early, and I don’t like anything remotely scary. My favorite movie is Hook with Robin Williams and I cry every time I watch/hear The Greatest Showman. I love living in Phoenix, yes, even in the summer, and I have been sober since I was 21 because I have a stomach disorder that makes that decision easy. I always have coaches because I feel coaches who don’t have coaches shouldn’t coach. I love playing sports but not watching. I had deep insecurities about friendships in the past and I don’t talk right away when I am in a new gathering of people I don’t know. I observe and feel the vibe first and then decide to speak. My mom was my maid of honor when I married my wife, Rachel, and some future dream roles include Fiona in Shrek The Musical, Elle in Legally Blonde the Musical, and Glinda or Elphaba in a tv show version of Wicked (that doesn’t exist yet – no spoilers here!) Social media is the most difficult part of my job and the “Belle” in my stage name came from what my grandfather – Papa – used to call me. I’m also a big open book, so be sure you want the answer if you ask the question!
