Check Out Rei Rei’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rei Rei. 

Hi Rei, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As a young boy, I was naturally attracted to the paranormal, the unseen realms, and was the creative type. I used to love drawing and writing short stories. I also remember scanning the heavens at night for visitors from other star systems when I was just six years old with a pair of dodgy binoculars in my hands. No one had to tell me there was a God, and higher dimensional beings, I have always innately known this to be the truth. 

My passion for the unseen realms was suppressed by the time I was twelve, however. Growing up in Liverpool, UK is a rough place. I started hanging around with people who didn’t have my best interests at heart, within a couple of years, I ended up on drugs and become just another cog in the machine of this profoundly sick society. I walked, talked, and behaved just like everyone else around me, my individuality and passions was all but forgotten. 

I often recall walking home at 4 am after a night out with the lads with my conscience eating me alive. I knew I had so much potential latent inside me, I was just too afraid to express it because I didn’t know who I was. This sort of party lifestyle persisted for nine years until a cold winter night in January 2010. 

This was the night…everything changed. 

After coming home from a party in which I’d be on cocaine and booze, I had a huge panic attack in my bedroom. I thought I was going to die. Once my Mum helped me calm down, I took a look out my bedroom window for some air. Clear night skies in the UK are a rarity since it’s often so cloudy, but literally, every star in the sky was out at that moment. I remember gazing at Orion, and Sirius to the bottom left of it but I didn’t know it was Sirius at the time. A shooting star then traversed the sky, and somehow this triggered a determination that I’d never felt before in my life. I felt a fire erupt at the base of my spine. I knew at that moment that it was now or never. If I wanted to truly change, it had to be then. 

I went to bed with this determination at the forefront of my perception and woke up a completely different person. I had no cravings for drugs or that lifestyle anymore. The first thought I had when I opened my eyes the next day was: “I am going to find God within myself.” 

Since then, almost twelve years ago, I have become a professional astrologer, meditation and metaphysical teacher, a healer, and also an author of nonfiction and soon-to-be fiction books. Of course, when I first changed, I still had to do the inner work of facing WHY I resorted to substances to run away from myself. I had countless panic attacks and seizures in the first couple of years and was even diagnosed with hypochondria by a therapist, but I persisted in my healing. 

I rejected all forms of medication and stuck with meditation and mindfulness, which helped me heal from my health paranoia, now I help others integrate their limiting beliefs. This process is the basis of my astrology readings and also my book, The Labyrinth: Rewiring the Nodes in the Maze of your Mind. 

I have come full circle and I believe it’s everyone’s destiny or purpose to get back to who they were before the world conditioned us to conform with its ways. I now have a business and career doing what I loved doing as a kid and feel like a child again inside, of course with the wisdom and maturity of the experiences I’ve had. 

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am known for my Astrology readings and books. I believe what sets me apart is that I have a way of explaining complicated subjects and ideas in a really simplistic way, my readers love that about me. 

I am also proud of Blue Orca, which is a sci-fi series of light novels that will be out early next year, it is about time travel and has a lot of spiritual truths implemented into it. I wish to teach the younger generations these ideas through my characters. Nothing teaches us better than an inspiring story. 

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see Blue Orca becoming a global brand, a video game, a comic book with action figures, teddy bears, and merchandise like Pokémon. 

I also see myself teaching people how to integrate their shadow through astrology for the rest of my life. I also inspire people to make contact with higher dimensional beings through meditation.
