Hi Micah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
The purpose: BLERDOVER LLC is here to promote black excellence and P.O.C excellence in the Blerd world and also to let the black community know that it’s ok to be different and to be yourself.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For me, being a Black male in America is hard being black.

But being a Black nerd is really hard because one I’m not acting like my race so to some I’m acting white, and from the other side of things I can not cosplay or like nerdy things because I’m black. So telling people about what I do and what I do it for is still hard at times.

This will also be talked about as well in the documentary that we are making.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a police officer, and I want to give people a view that all officers are not bad.

And I’m a people person I host interviews for people who are like me who works that 9-5 job, that’s in college, high school, elementary, young and old, and have them talk and tell us about their story of being a Black nerd (BLERD).

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
That people do not wash their hands (Ewwww).
