Hi Kristin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My career is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and creativity. And as the founder of Big Fuss Records, I have carved a niche for myself in the music industry, producing innovative and soulful music that resonates with audiences worldwide. My journey as a music producer and record label owner, is marked by my dedication to nurturing talent and my ability to bring out the best in artists, making Big Fuss Records a beacon of quality and originality.

Now transitioning from the world of music to literature, I have embraced writing inspirational books that open the eyes of readers. My latest book, “365 Daily Inspirations~Ideas For Higher Living”, is a reflection of my life’s journey, intended to offer readers a daily dose of motivation, wisdom, and positivity. The book features an article a day, with each page infused with the same passion and creativity that has been essential to my musical dreams. The writing provides a source of encouragement and spiritual hope for dreamers and doer’s to keep moving forward in the face of adversity.

My evolution from music producer to inspirational author, showcases my unwavering commitment to uplifting others. Whether through music or words, my goal is to continue to touch hearts and inspire minds, leaving an indelible mark on all who encounter my work.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey has had its challenges, but it has also been filled with growth and transformation. Despite facing difficult situations with limited resources and encouragement, these experiences have shaped my resilience and strength. When the Lord entered my life, everything became clearer, inspiring me to make a personal commitment to walk in Love and speak with kindness. I chose to break old patterns and understand my role in creating negative outcomes. Following my heart became possible once I discovered my passions and how I could use them for good in the world. And understanding the pain of having my ideas and dreams dismissed, I vowed never to oppress others in the same way. This commitment transformed me into a leader who strives to offer a kind word to everyone.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As an artist and author, I draw from the joy and pain of my own journey to create works that resonate deeply with others. My sensitive nature, shaped by a challenging beginning, has fostered a profound empathy that enables me to connect and inspire. This empathy allows me to touch others in a meaningful way, offering them both inspiration and support.

Over the past 20 years as a multi-instrumentalist, I have self-produced 22 full-length albums for Big Fuss Records, available worldwide on streaming platforms and at BigFussRecords.com. During this time, I have also promoted and supported numerous musicians through the “Artist To Watch” program and various music compilations, shining a spotlight on positive music that I believe deserves to be heard.

Over time, I have discovered that my passion for writing extends far beyond music. To date, I have authored and released three books, but my most significant work, my magnum opus, is “365 Daily Inspirations ~ Ideas For Higher Living.” This latest book is set to be released worldwide in Autumn 2024. It features 365 daily articles designed to inspire and encourage people to think beyond conventional spiritual boundaries.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I believe it’s important to “come as you are” in today’s world. My followers appreciate that I genuinely care and personally engage with them through social media, offering comments and encouragement. I don’t see myself as above anyone in status. Many artists today feel disillusioned, especially as streaming has transformed the music business, reducing traditional revenue streams. A similar shift is occurring in Hollywood with TV and film due to AI. The landscape has changed, leveling the playing field. Now, individuals have the potential to shine, but it’s an independent world where each person’s contributions matter the most. If I can encourage even one person to keep going and create art, especially in the face of adversity, I have accomplished something meaningful. I do not write books, or create music and art for fame, money, or superficial praise. I do it because I love what I do, and my creativity is an expression of my love for this life.
