Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Cegelski.

Hi Julie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I started The Housewarming Project after moving in with my boyfriend. I searched for well-priced unique items at the local storefronts and online and couldn’t find pieces I loved so I started designing my own home decor. The first 6 months the company was heavily focused on home decor but we have grown into gift-giving for any special occasion as well as corporate gifting.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth… haha not AT all. I struggle every day and a lot of the struggle comes from teaching myself something new at least once a day.

Who knew packaging and shipping was going to be such a difficult task. I want cute packages that will be durable for photo frames and glassware. Each day is a new challenge and struggle but I have to remind myself it’s just one step at a time and give myself a little grace.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are a home decor and gifting company, we have an online presence as well as a storefront in Scottsdale Arizona.
