Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackie Boss.
Hi Jackie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I always did this; turning it into a business was never a thought for me. However, my husband said something and knew we could build something the community would love. Now we’ve been in business for 2.5 years and only getting busier, we have to pinch ourselves that this is our reality. We are so grateful for our community.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Only sometimes, no. Recently, inflation has been more challenging with the cost of products. It’s been hard to keep prices at a point where everyone can afford them. We want everyone to experience a luxury spread.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I like to call myself a Professional Charcuterie Artist, haha. I create beautiful charcuterie boards, boxes, and grazing tables. I’m known as the cheese and meat lady, haha. Most people can’t pronounce the name charcuterie. In all reality, it’s a hard word. Is there even a real name for us out there? I’m most proud of how far Pine and Swine have come in 2 short years. We’ve worked hard to be where we are and hope to continue.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My husband deserves the most credit. He’s my official delivery guy, and he helps in so many ways that he doesn’t even realize. I couldn’t do it without him. The other credit goes to my friends and family! They have supported every dream, shared every milestone, even social media posts. They are my tribe, and I couldn’t do it without all of them.
