Check Out Grim Moses’ Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Grim Moses.

Hi Grim, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Since the last time, I spoke with Voyage Ghost Gun Records and Clothing has been doing great. I feel I really touched on my story of how I got started in our previous interview.

I would rather focus on the present. Lol. I just dropped a new Album titled “Supreme Grodd,” Which is an ambitious new EP produced by Solomon Strange, under the banner of Ghost Gun Records and Clothing. Having released for audiences on August 1st, 2022, the new EP is an effort to cement myself as a dynamic new force in the Hip Hop music world.

“Supreme Grodd” is a gripping new album that utilizes storytelling and abstract wordplay to take the listener on a journey of my younger years. The new album also features incredible contributions by Snotty and Allah Preme of The Umbrella Collective.

Songs from the album featured on SHADE 45’s “The Smoking Section” 3 weeks in a row! Which is hosted by the talented Trackstar the DJ who runs the turntables for the legendary group RTJ (RUN THE JEWELS).

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely, I have been dealing with some doubt and how to overcome writer’s block. I put out a teaser version to test the album in 2021 and there was zero response.

This version is really a continuation of “Flowers for Hater”. Which received a “Best of New Times” nomination.

The album is telling more of the story of my road to the present. I struggled with putting this project together for over a year and a half. I am glad that it has gotten such great responses.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
In the future, I plan to expand my publishing company and continue to create more compelling releases for hip-hop listeners.

I believe that music is an art form that should be motivated by the artist’s need to create. My main inspiration is “how can I create something that others will find inspiring or relatable?
