Today we’d like to introduce you to Flyytyme

fLyyTyme, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started watching my oldest brother start the brand Illegal World Entertainment in the late 1990s in Rockford, Il. After enough practice, I eventually joined them in the studio. I began making beats, composing, and eventually engineering. After high school, I relocated to Florida to attend Full Sail University for Recording Arts. I looked at this as a way to save the company money on recording costs and learn the information we needed to make it in the music business. After several releases and performances across the Chicago land area, I am now finishing up a bachelor’s program to enhance the business even further.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. For so long I felt ahead of my time, I now sometimes feel behind. Life happens, and for some, you have to deal with that first before a music career. Having a family and kids doesn’t always align with the budget needed to invest in a full-time music career. I’ve now developed a balanced approach for this upcoming year.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a producer, composer, artist, engineer, and CEO. Out of all my roles, I currently specialize in my artistry. I am focused on releasing new music every month in 2025. We did this as a label in 2021, however, this time we are looking to release more visuals with the music. I would say I am more known for being a producer. Due to my busy school schedule over the past few years, I haven’t had the most time to invest in creating beats. I am most proud of the development of my family’s music label and our music quality overall. What sets me apart from others is that my music is authentic and versatile.
