Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Martin.
Hi Diana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I worked as a case manager for about 10 years. After the father of my kids passed away, I found myself raising and supporting my children on my own. I had always dreamed of doing something in real estate, but the timing never felt right—I was in survival mode for my family.
In 2018, I bought a home in Arrowhead Ranch. It was a long and stressful process. I didn’t fully understand what was happening half the time, and it left me feeling overwhelmed. That’s when I realized: there has to be a better way. I knew I could help other single mothers and first-time homebuyers feel supported and empowered through that journey—but I kept putting my passion for real estate on hold.
Fast forward to 2020, during the COVID era, I finally had a window to take real estate courses. But, once again, life happened. I had to prioritize my kids and couldn’t continue. I tried again in 2022 but got very sick and spent about six months recovering. Still, I held onto that dream.
Finally, in 2024, I made the decision that it was time. I re-took the course, and even though it took me a while to pass the school exam—and despite being told “no” when I asked for help—I kept going. I studied late at night, leaned on my sister for support, and in June 2024, I passed the school exam. By July, I passed the state exam. I couldn’t believe it.
I officially became a licensed realtor in August. After briefly joining a team that didn’t offer much support, I made the move to Bliss Realty. Here, I have a coach, a brokerage that truly supports its agents, and a community I’m proud to be part of.
To every single mom out there: it is possible. There’s no age limit or deadline on your dreams. With dedication and heart, you can absolutely do it.
I did this for my “why”—my adult daughter, Kristin, and my teenage son, Karter. I want them to know that if you put your mind and heart into something, you can succeed.
And now, I get to do what I love every day.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There were also moments in this career where I didn’t feel supported—like when I joined a team that lacked guidance. It made me realize how important the right environment is. That’s why I’m so grateful to now be with Bliss Realty, where I feel backed by people who genuinely want me to succeed.
Every challenge along the way has shaped me into the agent—and woman—I am today. It wasn’t smooth, but it was worth it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a bilingual realtor here across the Valley, and I specialize in helping first-time homebuyers—especially single mothers and Spanish-speaking families—navigate the home buying process with confidence and support.
What I do goes beyond just opening doors and writing contracts. I walk my clients through every step, making sure they understand the process, feel comfortable, and know they have someone in their corner who genuinely cares. Buying a home can be overwhelming, especially for those doing it for the first time or facing language or financial barriers. I make it my mission to take that stress off their shoulders.
What sets me apart is my personal experience. I’ve been in their shoes. I know what it’s like to feel unsure, unsupported, and overwhelmed. That’s why I take the time to educate and empower my clients—I want them to feel confident in every decision they make.
I’m proud to be someone my clients can trust. I communicate clearly, I’m always available to answer questions, and I advocate for my clients as if they were family. My background as a case manager for over a decade taught me how to listen, how to serve, and how to stand by people during major life transitions—and I bring that same heart and dedication into real estate.
What makes me proudest is when my clients close on their homes with tears of joy, knowing they did it—and that they weren’t alone.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is making a real difference in people’s lives—especially for those who feel like the odds are stacked against them.
As a single mother, I know what it’s like to face challenges head-on, to push through moments of doubt, and to keep going even when it feels impossible. That’s why I’ve dedicated my work in real estate to helping others—particularly first-time buyers, single moms, and Spanish-speaking families—feel seen, supported, and confident as they take one of the biggest steps of their lives.
It matters to me that my clients feel educated, empowered, and never alone in the process. I want them to know they have someone who genuinely cares about their future—not just someone trying to close a deal.
And more than anything, what matters most is showing my kids—Kristin and Karter—that with hard work, faith, and heart, anything is possible. They are my “why,” and every family I help is a reminder that I’m walking in my purpose.
