Hi Deidre, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As my mother’s health began to decline, I started to notice my dad was declining too. He had been her caregiver for years, and the emotional and physical toll was becoming clear. Together, the three of us decided it was time to start looking into senior living.

I was deeply involved in helping them find just the right place — a community that felt like home and could provide the care my mom truly needed. When they finally moved in, it was life-changing. My mom received the compassionate care she deserved, and my dad was finally able to relax and focus on his own well-being.

Even though it became more difficult for my mom to leave her apartment, she was surrounded by support and kindness. And something beautiful happened — my dad began to live again. Knowing my mom was safe and cared for allowed him to reconnect with life. He joined groups I never imagined he would and rediscovered joy and purpose.

Their journey reminded me that the right senior living community doesn’t just care for one person — it brings new life and hope to the whole family. After witnessing all that senior living can provide, not only for those needing care but for their loved ones too, I knew I wanted to help other families experience that same sense of relief, support, and renewed joy.

In this journey, I’ve found that working in senior placement is both challenging and deeply rewarding — for all the right reasons. There’s so much to learn about senior living and the many resources available for seniors that it can feel overwhelming at times, but knowing I can help families navigate it makes every effort worthwhile.

I am a compassionate Senior Placement Advisor dedicated to helping seniors and their families navigate the complex world of senior living with ease and confidence. With a heart for service and a deep understanding of the emotional journey families face, I specialize in guiding them to the right living options — from independent living to assisted living to memory care — with empathy, clarity, and care.

Known for my personal touch and genuine connection, I take the time to truly understand each individual’s story, needs, and preferences. I do believe every family deserves peace of mind and every senior deserves a community where they can thrive.
