Decker, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up in Central Phoenix, I’ve always had a deep connection to the local community and a love for the Valley. My journey into wallcovering started when I had the opportunity to move to California, where I began as a helper, pulling paper. That experience taught me the fundamentals of the craft and started my passion for the trade.

From there, I transitioned into commercial work, contributing to large-scale projects like building hotels from the ground up. After five years of honing my skills in the commercial space, I found my way into residential wallcovering, where I discovered the creativity and personal connection that comes with transforming individual spaces.

Now, with eight years of professional installation experience under my belt, I’m proud to bring both precision and artistry to every project. I’m really grateful to serve the community with a craft I truly love.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but the challenges have been invaluable learning experiences. When I first started in the craft, I had incredible mentors who taught me the technical skills and the nuances of the trade. Transitioning from working under experienced professionals to owning my own business was a big leap. Suddenly, I wasn’t just focused on perfecting the craft—I also had to learn how to be an entrepreneur.

One of the biggest challenges has been juggling the volume of work. The demand has been much larger than I anticipated, which is a great problem to have, but it’s required me to refine my time management and prioritize the business side of things. Balancing client expectations, scheduling, and maintaining the quality of work I pride myself on hasn’t always been easy, but it’s taught me so much about adaptability and growth. I wouldn’t trade the journey for anything—it’s been very rewarding.

I specialize in wallcovering and take pride in transforming spaces by adding personality, texture, and style through this craft. Whether it’s a statement wall in a residential home or a large-scale commercial project, my focus is always on enhancing the space and bringing the client’s vision to life.

I’m known for my attention to detail and professionalism—qualities I believe are essential for delivering exceptional results. Every project, no matter the size, is an opportunity to create something unique and lasting. Being local to Central Phoenix, I love working all around the Valley and building connections within the community I grew up in.

One project I’m especially proud of is my work at The Global Ambassador. The craftsmanship and detail that went into that installation reflect my work well. Seeing such a high-profile space come to life with my work was an incredibly rewarding experience.

What sets me apart is the combination of my technical expertise, my commitment to quality, and my genuine love for serving the Valley where I was raised. I’m proud to bring creativity and precision to every project, helping my clients transform their spaces in meaningful ways.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memories are all about summers with my sister. We spent so much time swimming and jumping on the trampoline in our backyard. We’d spend hours out there, just having the best time together. Those summers were so simple but so fun. Looking back, I feel really lucky to have grown up with a sister who was not only my partner in all those adventures but also my best friend.
