Hi Carrie , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Carrie Kacen is an Internationally published Freelance Hair and Makeup Artist. She has appeared in Vogue Italia and Harper’s Bazaar. Carrie specializes in Artistry for Grammy’s 2022 Bridal, NFL Network, Chicago Fire, Red Carpet events and Fashion weeks in both Los Angeles and Malta. She is a member of IATSE 336 in Arizona as well as the Arizona Production Association. Her artistry is defined her ability to balance soft beauty with bold creativity.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Business ebbs and flows just as life does. As a female Entrepreneur, there challenges. I view my challenges as a way to stand in my power and integrity. Challenges allow one to have conviction for their purpose and values.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My 103rd old, Nana is were I have my strength as a business woman! She instill many values and advice on life. Kathy Doherty and Linda Gales took me under their wing to teach me how to excel in haircutting techniques and color trade tricks. They both are family to me at this point in my life! Sam McKnight International Session Stylist program took my career to another level! Fashion weeks and Red Carpet events My desire to continue to learn, master my craft, follow trends, stand on my brand allows me to achieve success at extreme levels! I feel that being a business minded woman with my Artistic talent makes me stand out in the crowd. Business is relationship. I excel at boundaries, vision of my life and creating my dreams into reality!
