Check Out Brendon Bowers’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brendon Bowers.

Hi Brendon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
After receiving an academic and athletic scholarship to play collegiate baseball in Northern California, I returned to my home state in Washington where soon after, I began my career in real estate. With the help of great mentors and veteran real estate professionals at my disposal, I quickly grew in the industry. I’ve personally closed over 150 homes and have been involved in another 200+ real estate transactions from running and managing a team of agents.

One of my most memorable sales in real estate was a condo sale to a woman that I had known since I was nearly eight years old. Turns out that we both had feelings for each other, and a few years later, we were dating, married, and are now expecting our first child in December of 2021!

After some serious conversations, we made the decision to sell both of our homes in Washington State and move somewhere that would offer a bit more sun so we relocated to Arizona and built our beautiful home in Queen Creek, AZ. We are both from small towns and felt right at home when we were scouting Queen Creek as a possible landing spot to relocate to.

Now, I am the Branch Manager & Senior Agent for a new real estate tech company called REX Homes.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My road to where I am now has been pretty smooth! My parents always instilled in me a great work ethic and a competitive drive that has molded me into the leader I am today.

My largest hurdle in life was making the decision to move to AZ with my wife. I have some family in Washington along with very close friends so it was hard leaving that behind. Our family is spread all around the world. My younger brother and his family live in Sydney, Australia, My sister and her husband live in Alabama, My Wife with family in Europe, Washington, DC.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the Branch Manager & one of the Senior Agents for a new real estate tech company, REX Homes. REX has been around since 2015 with the goal of leveraging technology to make buying and selling homes convenient, transparent, and more affordable to the consumers.

We launched in the AZ market about a year and a half ago and I came on board shortly after. I also assisted in the launch of the Seattle Market earlier this year.

We focus on residential real estate and cover the entire valley.
I primarily work with Sellers & Buyers, specializing in first time home buyers, relocation clients, investment purchases, & fix and flips. In the end, my goal is to help as many people with their real estate needs as possible. My passion for real estate is displayed on my sleeve and my clients always notice and take to that. I’ve always been a personable and trusting human being and I think this has been one of the biggest reasons for my success in the real estate industry.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I have found that when looking for a mentor, it’s best to first start with a list about yourself and the things you want to achieve and aspire to be in life. Once you have built this list, you start to sculpt this image of your future self and it will ultimately help you identify someone as a mentor because you will see those achievements and characteristics in that person.
