Check Out Brenda Isela Ruiz Murillo’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenda Isela Ruiz Murillo.

Hi Brenda, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I’ve always been interested in photography, I’m a big fan of beautiful scenery and nature. In 2014 I had my first camera, it was a digital camera that obviously was not for professional use, however, I started to capture everything that was on my way, started sharing my photographs on Facebook, and when I least expected it people started to ask me to take their pictures because they liked my shoots. I felt so flattered so I accepted to photograph them, back then I was not receiving anything back, I did it because I loved it.

A few months went by and more and more people were asking for photo shoots since the locations were not close, I decided to purchase a more professional camera to charge for gasoline compensation and at the same time improve the quality of my photographs. So, this is where my hobby became an ideal job.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been easy to accomplish what I have done, it cost a lot to get the equipment and have the time to dedicate completely to photography since I had to study for a professional degree in education and work at a school at the same time.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Since 2021 for some circumstances I had to leave my job as a teacher to move to Phoenix with my husband, therefore it allows me to dedicate all my time to photography, I love to take pictures of beautiful scenery and people, and sometimes some special events.

I’m very proud that since I haven’t been living in Phoenix for so long I have been able to meet a lot of people because of this, also I have been able to make videos for Tiktok, and lots of people have been following me.

Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to continue doing videos about my photography, because I love to share my life adventures, hope that any change is for the best, and open more doors in the future.
