Today we’d like to introduce you to Andreea Serban.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story begins when I was born with my twin sister and together we traveled toward the discovery of uniqueness, a journey that continues today. Today the trip brought me to Los Angeles, where I have been living for 4 years with my husband. As we know, life is the sum of our choices, but the equation changes continuously and we are left to assume the result, whether we like it or not. We also have the free will to modify the algorithm depending on the involvement we have in knowing our true selves. I chose this path, as I said, that of developing the true sound after I made the decision to become a lawyer, a choice made not exactly in alignment with my deep self. Social patterns often cast a spell on us with an illusory mirage and that’s how I found myself at the point where my passion turned to law, abandoning my nature, my uniqueness. This awareness guided me to another choice, that of studying psychology and many other studies related to personal development, more precisely the regaining of the authentic self, the place from where you make those choices in harmony with your purpose, with your divine gifts. In short, these layers of awareness can be found in the two books I wrote “Unique and Different” and “More than a lawyer”. This is how history looks in short until now.
In this context of the mission to honor my uniqueness and mission, I am available to be present and to accompany in the same journey any person who makes that choice to live authentically and enjoy life in a different way than society has taught us. Through my coaching sessions and other programs that I offer, I help my clients make a quantum leap by simply changing their perceptions and at the same time approaching the healing process in a gentle and organic way. I do this with their businesses as well, I help them make a difference and bring more awareness to what they do and impact more on their clients and the world in general. The model I use refers exactly to the authentic assumption of one’s own mission and alignment with the transition period of humanity. What fulfills me is the fulfillment of those I work with, their evolution, and their smile of genuine joy. And they even say: yes, it’s really possible to be different, it’s wonderful!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Inner growth requires openness, cognitive and emotional flexibility, accepting criticism, accepting uncertainty, getting used to paradoxes, trusting the process of transformation, and abandoning control are the attitudes needed for sustaining the journey toward your uniquenesses.
When you choose to be committed to your heart and authentic living, you know that you are doing it for your joy in order to live a better life, a better state. Then, you see any obstacle as a stepping stone towards the desired direction, self-actualization, as close as possible to the source of life. That is the place from which everything it flows easily and aligns naturally with your intention without effort.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As I said earlier, I consider that the art of life is that of being. I am here to manifest my uniqueness in many dimensions in a creative way using the resources I have cultivated along the way of life. This scale includes various traits, skills, and abilities that I use. The personal development process is integrated both in the body and in the mind. Changing our life requires changing the inner world. It’s constant work with old patterns, and the understanding of how these patterns connect and work together within systems, changing them toward progress and joy.
I help my clients to improve their ability to act with intention, in a mindful state, working their inner world in the acceptance of multiple perspectives, and cognitive openness. each client is different and has different needs.
I help their creativity to have a panoramic overview of a specific topic or situation, and the ability to manage their life in harmony with their purpose. I have specializations as an Attorney, Psychologist, MBA, CEO of Be Different Foundation, Writer, Certified in Coaching and NLP Master, Hypnosis and Integrative Psychotherapy tools, yoga teacher, and nutritionist. I’m helping clients from various business fields to make a difference in their businesses and also elevate their life toward greater wealth and well-being.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The lesson is that when you receive a gift you must pass it on and that is our purpose. Many times we think that everything is due to us and we enter into an automatic process in which we take everything as if it is guaranteed but it is not so. Only when something, without your intention, stops you from that process of doing and doing, do you realize that it is not about doing but more about being, being different. If you don’t understand this lesson, you take it over and over again, feeling that you are spinning in the same circle of social patterns.
Your uniqueness gives an so many opportunities to enjoy your unique life, you just have to have the courage to assume those divine, unique gifts. Look for them and when you find them, I can’t wait for you to share your journey with me. If you need help defining your heart shape that fits to your joyful life, I’m here to help you create the model of your authentic being, the Be Model!
