Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Godsey.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been into fitness training and competing. With being into fitness I’ve always tried to help others with proper training and food prep. I looked into a career where i would enjoy helping other people out and was intrigued about being an esthetician. Being able to help others with their skin treatments lashes ext. Getting the fulfillment of my clients excited with the treatments I do on them makes me happy.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Opening my own business has had many struggles. The Covid pandemic was nearing the end of its panic and uncertainty when I opened my own business. Starting my business was difficult at first. Getting clients in was difficult at first, but being persistent and passionate about taking care of clients and being fare and not overcharging for my services, I have an amazing returning and new clientele that has made my business strive for over four years now

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Being a business owner I feel you have to stand out and be different then your competitors and take pride in what you do to be successful. With my services for different treatments I always use top of the line products. I always try to add little perks to whatever treatments they prefer. During the holidays I get creative and create different bundles of services that are on my menu. I love making my clients comfortable, happy, and knowing that they were treated fairly and with respect.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
While attending Avolon Cosmetology Institute I met one of my instructors Yvette. Yvette has been an amazing mentor and has helped me be successful from day one. Yvette provided and taught me different protocols to be licensed in many different services to add to my resume. She was a great asset on teaching me different techniques doing lashes which I love using everyday. Being a successful business owner. herself. She mentored me on how to open and run my successful. business. My biggest supporter has been my husband Rick. With the many trials and errors and stressful times running a successful business. Rick is always supportive and pushes me to be better.
