Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristy Bryant.

Kristy, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I started my photo booth business 2 1/2 years ago. I had recently had my first child and was wanting a job that I could be in control of the hours/days I work. My sister has recently got married and had a photo booth at her wedding- everyone loved it! It was the highlight of the night for the guest. We all had a blast! Then I got the idea of starting my own photo booth business! It would allow me to take jobs when I wanted to and also be a stay at home mom at the same time. I could work as much or as little as I wanted to and I have done just that! I love what I do and I also love being a stay at home mom- Best of both worlds. Since then, I recently had my second child and still able to be a stay at home mama and work my business!

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I create a fun, entertaining time for guest at their events! Guest walk away with photos in hand- which they love, as well as being able to text, email, and post to social media.

Have things improved for artists? What should cities do to empower artists?
The photo booth industry has grown tremendously in the last 3 years. It has been hard because the market is so saturated with new businesses, but we are still growing!
