Check out Greg Ayasse’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Ayasse.

Greg, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I grew up in CT and moved to Phoenix this past February. I always had an artist’s mindset, but never found my outlet, until I was talking to a customer of mine at my full-time job a few years ago, who happened to be a photography professor. I had been taking photos at car shows for a few years before just as a hobby, and I shared some of my work with him. He told me, I had a great eye for composition and I should really consider pursuing photography more seriously.

About a year ago, I broke out of my comfort zone of automotive photography and started taking portraits here and there, and I loved it. It gave me such a passion for photography and the art of not only expressing myself but also helping someone else express themselves too. I’m hoping to further expand my art out here in Phoenix, and look forward to the new creatives I’ll get to work with!

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I take photos as a way to artistically express myself, both with composition and post-production. My style is very multi-dimensional and heavily dependent on the subject I’m photographing and the mood or emotion I hope to portray in the final edit. I’m constantly learning and growing as an artist, and my art is always changing. I just hope that, through my work, I inspire more people to be creative and pursue their own goals and aspirations.

Do current events, local or global, affect your work and what you are focused on?
I create what I want to create. I don’t let anything except my own creativity control that.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
My work is only on my Instagram page currently.
