Today we’d like to introduce you to Eddy Pierce.
Eddy, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I’ve been in Tucson AZ at broken clover tattoo for about 3 years after spending close to 10 years in Kapolei, Hi where I did my apprenticeship. In order to be more diverse in the industry I learned piercing, scarification and suspension as well as being proficient in the traditional Polynesian tattooing style.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I work with a lot of different mediums such as color pencils, alcohol markers, digital art, photography, paint, even down to customizing old cars. I want people to look at anything I do and just be amazed by the time and detail I put into my artwork. My inspiration comes from sources like H.r. giger, comic books, rat-fink and others.
How can artists connect with other artists?
I don’t feel lonely, I feel within the tattoo community there is a ton of support. I’ve made some great lifelong friends through the industry. My advice is to follow other artists, comment and like their work. Go to the conventions say hi, it’s a great place to interact with multiple artists in the same location.
Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?

I have three awesome pieces from Eddy, with number four scheduled in November. I don’t live in Tucson any more (unfortunately), but can’t pass up the chance to get inked by my favorite artist while visiting!
Check out his Shibari tats!
See ya soon Eddy!
