Check out Dani Kahn and Evan Vega’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dani Kahn and Evan Vega.

Dani and Evan, please share your story with us.
We have been warriors of inspiration for a long time. We both approached the idea of combining powers early in 2017 under the name Studio Fortis. We have developed Studio Fortis to invoke creativity to enrich minds. Our services have a wide range: graphic design, web development, art development, and brand creation. We are in the process of fostering a community who are inspired to follow their creative dreams!

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
We assist small businesses express themselves creatively. Everyone has the capacity to create, build, or envision something beautiful. Many small business owners are passionate creators, bursting at the seams with ideas. One problem: They are busy focusing on what their business provides, typically that does not include marketing! In a world where “marketing” is a dirty word – it is critical to think out of the box and attract the clients we want to work with. We approach all projects holistically to help them grow substantially using local connections, artistic flair, and recent technological advancements. Our goal is assisting passionate, goal setting entrepreneurs take control of their brand and express their dreams to the world confidently.

The sterotype of a starving artist scares away many potentially talented artists from pursuing art – any advice or thoughts about how to deal with the financial concerns an aspiring artist might be concerned about?
Our financial challenges are huge. We are in our late twenties and still living very cheap, renting rooms to live, and using coffee shops for WIFI. Recently married, we made a goal that we were going to work hard and save up to put a down payment on our first home.

It’s been a tremendous challenge for us to stay inspired – we’ll be the first to admit – but we had to create Studio Fortis for our sanity. Our projects for our clients are our passion and we love seeing a happy economy.

We do not buy things that we don’t need and budget very meticulously. We have to work really hard to not compare our living situation to other artists’ situations. We both work full time jobs outside of our work with Studio Fortis. We save and then invest only in equipment and supplies that we know will last and help us with our business.

Our advice for those struggling to focus on artwork due to their financial place: Never ever compare your work (unless you’re trying to improve your craft) or lifestyle to others and keep creating what you love. Love for your creations will outshine any gold you can collect.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
We are on a variety of social medias 🙂 follow us @studiofortis on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook! If you’d like a treat join us on our warrior group: Social Fortis on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/groups/socialfortis/. To support our work all we ask is for you to stay inspired and if you see something you like, give us a thumbs up and a share- we’d really appreciate all the help (since we just started this in 2017!)
