Today we’d like to introduce you to Andre Mccline.

Andre is a mixed media artist from the inner city of Chicago that goes by the name Art Vandal. Now a resident of Scottsdale Arizona Andre continues to create art that is fun, informative, and filled with intriguing subject matter for the world to enjoy. His goal is to give society artistic creations that attract the eye, but inspires the mind.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
My art is a mixture of pop art, contemporary and abstract. I like to create information pieces that entertains the mind as well as the eye. I often use acrylics, oil markers, 3D paint and spray paint to give every piece I create its own special touch.

Have things improved for artists? What should cities do to empower artists?
I think the market for artwork has been fairly decent, hasn’t been too low or too high. It seems harder because there are so many artists but quality art is the only way to stand out and be successful. I always set the bar for myself high with every piece I create just to make sure quality is not an issue. The best thing the cities of Arizona can do is continue to Support and allow artists to be creative as much if not more than they have already.

My artwork is currently on my Instagram @tru_artvandal for sell and by request. I have merchandise, original art and prints for sale.
