My anxiety always presented itself in its darkest form in social environments so meeting new people was a huge stress for me. Thankfully I have a husband who is the complete opposite of me, he can talk to anyone about anything. He pushed me and encouraged me to pursue photography. Read more>>

I want to empower any client or subject of mine to feel the same. I experience no greater satisfaction in my work than when another person is somehow affected by what I do. I’m not always too concerned about what that effect might be, because we each receive and interpret everything from a foundation based on our individual stories and experiences. What I am concerned about, however, is leaving something in this world that provides value and meaning—to myself and to others. Read more>>

I decided I wanted to start taking portraits and we kept gaining more and more followers. At some point my friends got busy with college and life and decided to leave the account so I ended up posting by myself from that point. I am self taught & i spend most of my time watching youtube videos and practicing by myself through trial and error until i get something that i like. This has made me appreciate and admire all of the artists that are out there expressing what they love to do and the time they spend in order to transmit to others a piece of them through their art. My goal is to grow and to become better everyday, teach others and continue doing what i love the most. Read more>>

My interest and skill blossomed which led to the title of Apprentice Painter/Dyer in the following season. At this point I was given many wonderful opportunities to create what I loved and then see it on stage. At the conclusion of my final year as an apprentice, I was hired to do similar work at a theatre in Utah over the summer. I now hold the position of Painter/Dyer at Arizona Opera and freelance at various theaters around the valley. Read more>>

Muir recalled that being a pivotal moment because it awaken a sense of curiosity that lead to the research on many subjects that would later show up in his work. He was consciously aware he could no longer create again without commentating on the world around him and became quickly submerged in the connection between political and spiritual statements in art. I want my work to be honest. It should not try to be something it is not. It should have the confidence to just be itself. At the same time, it should be doing something more. It should evoke emotion. When you stand in the space, it should calm you or it should excite you. It should speed you up, or slow you down, or stop you completely. Even if it is only a subtle effect, there should be something that can be felt. Read more>>

I hope that people viewing my art would be drawn to the interesting textures, graphic design and typography incorporated into the pieces. Some of my pieces really draw heavy on my graphic design background and tend to be on the looser, messy/edgy side. While other paintings and sketchbook projects have a hidden inspiration or personal meaning and incorporate specific words and numbers from my childhood. Read more>>

On one Venice Beach visit, I became mesmerized with the small mosaic artwork that a local hippie was selling on the boardwalk. It became mine, fast. I hung this beautiful tiny mirror on my bedroom wall and looked at it every day for weeks. My eyes were open to a whole new world that I never considered. Soon, I researched and purchased all of the material and tool necessary to pull off my own unique mosaic art pieces. After many missteps, I finally found my way. Read more>>

I would do some drum stuff then some bass stuff then some keys… I started to experiment with doing 2 at the same time. Bass and drums or bass and keys, etc. There was a eureka moment when I realized I could do all 3 with the right setup. I’ve been working on that ever since and moved back to Phoenix in August 2016 to have the necessary time to work on playing and singing my music with this new instrument! Read more>>
