Art & Life with Zachary Zuran

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zachary Zuran.

Zach is the founder and CEO of ZAZ Brokerage. He started pursuing art in his early 20’s and it was a fairly impulsive decision. Since he didn’t know much about art, it was a new subject that appealed to him. One random day Zach realized that a piece of art that was hung up in some random ASU student’s apartment, really created this vibrant feeling that gave him the chills. A week later, Zach decided it was time to buy. Zach’s personal collection began with starting with only one artist, WIJ…, who lived here in the valley of Phoenix, Arizona as well. Within time and effort, Zach’s collection grew into over 40 paintings. Zach learned a lot about art while working with this artist and he would only be grateful and appreciative towards this young artist. Down the road, Zach decided to expand and start collecting other talented artists which then lead into what is now his business, ZAZ Brokerage.

After years of collecting Zach grew a name for art so he decided it was time to find and outsource more art. Currently ZAZ’s Brokerage represent Artists including: Ashley Macias, KooZ, Leter91, Frank Wilder, Vinci Wilder and Shawn kolodny, just to name a few. Also, he sponsors a DJ named Ryan REALZ, an Amateur MMA Fighter by the name of Deric “Filipino Flash” Flores, and an amateur golfer.

The Brokerage is built around the concept of tapping into the local/global art scene, represent, collaborate, and sponsor only the best artist, (of any type), who are talented, committed, and loyal. The Brokerage is a team, a family, and everyone who is supportive of it keeps grinding every single day until one day, ZAZ will rise to the top and reminisce with his team!

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
The artwork I collect and represent is masterpieces that really makes an individual feel a different way while looking at it. I have many diverse mediums or styles that are in my collection and only focus on growing and growing a little bit each day. Also, the artwork I have is only originals meaning, one of one and there’s only one made. which brings quite the excitement!

Artists rarely, if ever pursue art for the money. Nonetheless, we all have bills and responsibilities and many aspiring artists are discouraged from pursuing art due to financial reasons. Any advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective artists?
Since I’m a broker, I don’t run into this problem so I wouldn’t be able to answer the question sufficiently.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
Currently my website is undergoing some structural change and will be officially up and running within the next month or so. you can still visit www.zazbrokerage.com to see a gallery of works. As well as Instagram, Facebook, or even an email asking for any photos. My gallery consists of over 100 Originals and can call for a private viewing if interested in seriously Purchasing a painting.
