Today we’d like to introduce you to Vincent “Vinnie” Rodriguez.

Vincent “Vinnie”, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I am originally from Bloomington, CA but currently live in Mesa, AZ I have been tattooing professionally since 2009. I have loved art ever since I can remember. I tried to make a career in art a lot of different ways but it never worked out till I found tattooing. People underestimate the power of tattoos and I am so grateful that I get to be a part of it. I am currently sponsored by Kingpin Tattoo Supply and I am the Inventor and founder of Zipcords which are cords that power tattoo machines. I invented and patented them with the intentions of making tattooers jobs easier and they are doing well.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I specialize in American traditional tattooing. I love to create simple strong tattoos with tattooing’s essence in mind. My inspiration is my family. And all tattooers who made tattooing what it is today.

Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
My advice to artists is don’t lose the love or passion you have for it. Be a professional, have respect, and have morals. Money is not the most important thing
