Art & Life with Jeremiah Pantoja

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremiah Pantoja.

Jeremiah, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I was brought up in Palm Springs Cali, but moved out here to AZ about five years ago with my girlfriend Luci Ruiz. I have always painted and been into art and graffiti. I started doing free art drops and leaving them on corners for here in Gilbert, AZ and posting them to local garage sale groups with a picture and location for people to find. It was amazing how many people were on the hunt to go find the art! It was really exciting!! The art drops blew up from there people started commissioning pieces. I started my art page Artistic Lifestyle with the help of my babe Luci and it grew from there. I started painting full time from home for the last 4 years, I specialize in star wars pop art and many more different styles; pet art, realism, graffiti, stencil style & hand paintings. Star wars is probably my biggest influence. I’m a big star wars collector so that contributes to my addiction to star wars art. I have a lot of support from my friends and family and especially my girl, Luci Ruiz who stood by my side and encouraged me to paint. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her.

Do you think conditions are generally improving for artists? What more can cities and communities do to improve conditions for artists?
I love seeing all the art from California, LA, Hollywood area, there’s nothing like that out here in my area. Being an artist is hard and to put a price on something was hard for me to do. I think my city Gilbert AZ should have more art shows and art gatherings.
