Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennie Latona.

Jennie, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
At 17 I was gifted a second chance at life. At that moment I knew my life purpose would be channeled through hairdressing. My heart has always lived ‘behind the chair’ with real people and real moments. Today I’m the proud owner of JFTB Atelier, a luxury chic boutique salon servicing a full clientele. I also serve as a National Artist for L’Oréal Professional where I specialize in ‘filling up’ the hairdressers cup while facilitating the latest hair trends.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
Hairdressing is one of the few professions that physically touch people. With that comes a great deal of responsibility to show up the best version of oneself…while revealing everyone’s unique beauty. As a master hair colorist, my proudest formula has always been heart-head-hand. Namaste

Artists rarely, if ever pursue art for the money. Nonetheless, we all have bills and responsibilities and many aspiring artists are discouraged from pursuing art due to financial reasons. Any advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective artists?
Just remember “Money goes where energy flows.” It’s the after effect of your heart being in the right place.
