Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Janel Molinar.

Claudia Janel, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I always knew that I wanted to have an effect on people’s lives in one form or another. Initially, I went to massage therapy school. Halfway through, I realized that that wasn’t where my passion was. After withdrawing from the program, I really focused my energy on finding what inspired and motivated me. I have always had an interest in the fashion industry. I realized that with hard work and dedication, I could be successful in this industry.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I have been extremely fortunate in the fact that I am able to express my artistic talents in various ways. I have my own salon, where I spend my day behind the chair with my clients. I enjoy making them look and feel beautiful. I also have other creative outlets where I am able to express myself more freely and use my art in more abstract ways. Some of my most enjoyable experiences was being a part of NY Fashion Week. I have also participated in many editorials in which I’ve had the pleasure to work on tv stars like Devin Druid from the Netflix series 13 reasons why, Diana Hopper from the Series Goliath to name a few, and am excited to say I have been published internationally.

Do you think conditions are generally improving for artists? What more can cities and communities do to improve conditions for artists?
Most importantly, never give up on your goals. Stay focused on your passion and find your motivation. Regardless of the setbacks, always keep moving, time passes anyways.
