An Inspired Chat with Valerie Brion

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Valerie Brion. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Valerie, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
They are all personal values of mine however, I believe integrity is most important to me. Integrity guides how I treat others and how I approach my work, even when no one is watching. It builds trust, accountability, and respect

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Valerie Brion, and I’m a 26-year-old entrepreneur and the owner of So Waxxed, a full-body waxing studio located in Peoria, Arizona. So Waxxed has been proudly serving our community for the past two years, and during that time, we’ve built strong and meaningful connections with our clients.

What started as a passion for helping others feel confident in their own skin has grown into something even more fulfilling which is educating and mentoring other estheticians. With six years of experience in the beauty industry, I’ve had the honor of sharing my knowledge through my Waxing Bootcamp, where I teach others the techniques and business skills that have helped me succeed. Watching new estheticians grow and thrive is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My relationship with God shaped how I see myself. I’ve learned to love myself even through challenging moments. Praying to God has reminded me that I am human and I will grow through every emotion of hardship.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that everything turned out beautifully. The pain, confusion, and setbacks all had purpose. I’d remind her that her strength and resilience carried her through, even when she didn’t realize it. I’m proud of her for never giving up and for becoming the woman she once hoped she could be.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m fully committed to continuing to build and grow my brand, So Waxxed. From the beginning, my goal has been to create more than just a waxing studio, I want to build a community and a space that empowers confidence, education, and self-care. I believe in steady growth, staying consistent through challenges, and always evolving both personally and professionally. No matter how long it takes, I’m dedicated to expanding my brand’s impact, reaching new clients, and inspiring other estheticians to chase their goals with passion and purpose.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Absolutely. I believe true dedication and integrity come from within, not from external validation. I take pride in giving my best effort in everything I do because it reflects my values and work ethic. Whether or not someone acknowledges it, I know that the quality of my work and the experience I provide speak for themselves
