Good morning Shahira , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
One moment that made me laugh and feel proud was when my Cheer team entered a cheer competition for the very first time and we got first place. The reason why I laughed is because it was a joy of laughter like oh my gosh, we really won first place but I was tremendously proud of these girls

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
hello everyone, I am Shahira Mcginty but better known as Coach Shay or Mrs Shay . I am founder and owner of UNITED dance team and UNITED All-Star cheer in Buckeye Arizona. What makes my team interesting special unique is that we are a team that stay strong no matter what challenges come our way, we are a sisterhood team. No one is left out. No one is left alone. Our name means something. Our goal means something and we work hard no matter how small or big our teams are. Our teams are capable of making things happen and we absolutely enjoy what all we do.. United Dance team has been in the business for seven years now and our cheer team 2 years . we believe in having our team affordable so that every student in our community can have a chance to be apart of something Amazing. we help each other out No matter what the situation maybe. we build relationships and Confidence. not just a team of individuals Performing.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
before I decided to get into the Dance industry business, I was just a stay at home mother and wife doing my motherly duties my wife duties and helping and providing for my family spending time with friends going to church and going to outings then that day came when a dream came my reality I started my own business June 13th 2018 .

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?

I decided to stop hiding my pain and start using it as power when I decided that I didn’t have to understand why people feel the way they felt about my vision or my dream I just realized Things work How they work when you keep going and never give up . seeing my students really enjoy coming to practice for cheer and for dance and seeing how excited they are to be on stage and perform was my main top priority and Here we are today . having the support from all our students parents and friends made a big Difference in the Business. knowing that i really Appreciate the fact that if i work hard anything is Possible.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
the one person that i can say i Admire for their Character is my Husband Jeremy McGinty . the way he carries his self and the way he Absolutely has a big heart for others is Power.

How my Dedication and Commitment to My teams was way beyond this universe. how no matter where we had planned to have practice at we would still get things done . how the times were i was sick or tired i still did what was needed to be done and Accomplished for the Girls .
