An Inspired Chat with Kimberley Whren of Phoenix

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Kimberley Whren. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Kimberley , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are all about setting the tone and aligning my energy. I start by waking up and thanking God for a new day, taking a few moments to speak my affirmations and set my intentions. Then, I spend time in meditation and reflection, centering my mind and grounding myself. After that, I make a cup of tea and enjoy it mindfully, giving myself a moment of calm before the day truly begins. It’s my sacred routine to step into the day fully present, grateful, and focused. Once I’ve grounded myself, I check my emails and WhatsApp messages to smoothly transition into the day ahead.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! I’m Kimberley, a Luxury Travel Mentor and Bae-cation Curator. I help millennials get paid to vacation, guiding them to turn their love of travel into thriving businesses. As a Bae-cation Expert, I design unforgettable couples’ getaways, and I mentor new Travel Business CEOs, helping them launch and grow their brands with confidence. My work is all about blending luxury, adventure, and freedom, creating experiences and strategies that let people travel more, earn more, and live their best lives. I’m currently focused on expanding my community of like-minded adventurers and entrepreneurs, sharing insider tips, exclusive experiences, and tools to build both a life and business they love.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose and I’m now ready to release is the survival mentality and the belief that success only comes from climbing the corporate ladder or working a traditional 9–5 job. For years, I measured my worth by how much I could hustle within someone else’s system. But I’ve outgrown that mindset. I’’ve stepped fully into freedom, creativity, authenticity and abundance, trusting that I can create a life and business on my own terms, one that aligns with my passions, purpose, and vision for success.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: “It’s okay to be different. You don’t have to follow the path everyone else is on or measure your worth by someone else’s standards. Trust yourself, embrace your uniqueness, and show up fully as the confident, authentic, and extraordinary person you are.”

I’d also remind her to practice self-love and release the need to survive or fit in the norm. Life isn’t about proving yourself in a corporate system or doing what everyone else expects, or dim as the right way, it’s about stepping into your own power, trusting your journey, and creating a life and career that align with you.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say what really matters to me is living life on my own terms, doing what I want, on my own time, and fully enjoying every moment. They’d say I value freedom, travel, and experiences that expand my world, as well as sharing my knowledge with others to help them grow; whether it’s about astrology, astrocartgraphy, having an abundant mindset, or manifestation. At my core, I care about creating a life that’s aligned with my passions, helping others step into their own power, and embracing every opportunity to explore, learn, and thrive.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think people will most misunderstand the network marketing aspect of my travel business. Many assume it’s “scammy” or not a real business model, but the truth is it has produced millionaires and created opportunities for countless people to build freedom-filled lives. Some even hesitate to travel right now because of the economy or government changes, but I know travel will always thrive, and the value of experiences and exploration is timeless. My legacy will be about showing that with vision, strategy, and courage, you can create a thriving business, travel the world, and inspire others to do the same all while breaking outdated misconceptions about success and network marketing.
