We recently had the chance to connect with Hailey Autumn Burket and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Hailey Autumn, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I stay in bed for 20-30 minutes after waking up so I don’t feel groggy and rushed, then I brush my teeth and have some caffeine while watching Family Guy.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a model, exotic dancer and content creator based out of Scottsdale, AZ and San Diego, CA. I love what I do and I’m just having the time of my life right now. I have a 6 year old daughter, Arabella Winter, and she’s the light of my life!
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My daughter is my mini me, loving her is like loving myself.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
My week long coma, and my strokes and year and a half later. I’ve relearned to walk twice, and there was a point where I was just so ready to give up. I spent some time living in San Diego and it really helped get me in a good place again.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, what you see is what you get!
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
Things can change so quickly, an unplanned medical emergency can set you back so far and everyone should be prepared for something like that.
