Hi Devante, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Would YOU hire you? Why or why not?
Yes I would hire myself. A few reasons starting with the usual answer, I am a hard worker. Reasoning two, I’m always willing to learn to improve my craft. Reason three, I bring great energy!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is DeVante Mack. I am the a multi-faceted artist and the founder of Divergent Being Media. Divergent Being is a media network that has a plethora of shows/podcast.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I wouldn’t say a specific moment in particular. Everyday really just builds my perspective on how I view the world. To keep it blunt, the world is an interesting place.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
“Don’t get discouraged. Your time will come.”

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
100% it is. I am a firm believer in you should always be your authentic self every single second.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
That I was doing everything for fame and money. Making money off my work would be great. Fame is honestly something I could care less about. I genuinely just like creating and want to tell great stories.
