Amy, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
I lose myself in photography—creating art with my camera is where I find myself again. Through the lens, I move beyond the distractions of everyday life and into a space where color, light, and motion guide me back to myself.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m an art photographer based in Phoenix. What makes my art interesting is the way I transform the ordinary into something unexpected. Using intentional camera movement, I create abstract images that balance chaos and calm, motion and stillness. My work invites viewers to see the familiar in a new way, while reflecting the emotion and energy I experience behind the lens.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that most shaped how I see myself is the one with my daughter. She is my muse and constant source of inspiration, reminding me daily of resilience, creativity, and the beauty of seeing the world through fresh eyes.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d remind myself to trust my creativity and focus on my own path, not measure myself against anyone else.

My friends would say what matters most to me is my daughter, my creativity, and nurturing the spark I see in her as she grows.

I feel most at peace when I’m alone, free from chaos and pretense, simply being myself.
