From newer, technology based media like photography and digital art to more traditional art, there is so much to see, explore and learn from throughout the region. This weeks theme was simplicity. I had all these ideas start swarming my brain. And then we were out for this family bike ride, and the way the light was shining on her was so simple and perfect. I pulled out my cell phone, and I remember @jensebringphotography talking about “why can’t we post our cell phone shots, and not only our ‘big girl’ cameras?!” It pushes creativity and she’s right! So here it is. Simple and just ok quality. And one of my favorites. It’s amazing what a little Lightroom can do. Today I had the absolute pleasure of photographing baby Joelle. {Look back to my previous post about beautiful mom-to-be Jasmine}. • This post is about flexibility and growth. Southern Arizona had some wild weather this past week so the plan to bring Joelle to my studio changed, and I made the trip up to Phoenix instead. • The session became a lifestyle-type newborn shoot and, as this preview shows, the images were so beautiful and pure. I love newborn photography and having total control in studio to pose babies and use my props. Today, I was able to photograph mom, dad and baby in their own home with amazing natural light.
